Relectrify featured in Sydney Morning Herald
The Sydney Morning Herald recently ran a story on university students and graduates launching companies. Relectrify Co-Founder Valentin outlined some of the work he tackled during his PhD, allowing him to build up knowledge and skills that have proved very useful for Relectrify.
“My PhD is a combination of experimenting and analysing research on energy storage with a focus on battery systems and I soon realised that there was a lot of wastage going on with battery cells.”
“Two of the four projects I am working on – one with the CSIRO with regards to lithium-ion battery testing and the other developing novel battery layouts, which involves building and demonstrating how a novel switch-based battery system layout that can be used for electric vehicles and other applications – led to the idea of Relectrify.”
